Our good friend Wally (he was a groomsman in our wedding) from Kenai, Alaska (he is very proud of his heritage) came for a visit!!! We took a night trip to a national park with our neighbors Michelle and Jon.
Pretty garden with koi fish at a famous fancy hotel we stopped in at along the way. John Lennon and his family stayed here once!
We took many types of transportation this weekend...train, rope-way, cable-car, boat...
Along the way we stopped at this site famous for its sulfur...I think on the side of a volcano. We got hard boiled eggs (it was the thing to do) that were black on the outside from being in the sulfur water. They tasted normal though. :)
