We took our new friends for a tour of the base where Stephen works...it is little America there- so strange! We went bowling, ate American fast food and went grocery shopping for American food at the grocery store...definitely nice if you are from the States like Ariadne and haven't been back for a long time. Ken ended up getting a bunch of new Levi's. He said the same coat he purchased for $40 was $200 outside the base in 'Japan.' Crazy!

We stumbled upon an out of this world Asian antique auction...but we were too late! Ariadne managed to scoop up an incredible Ming vase and jewelry box though. Everything was so cheap- the guy who runs it travels around the world to all the different Navy bases and holds auctions.
