our home

And the soccer fields/training center where the town team trains.

And I caught a lady walking her dressed up dog. ;)

To right.

Living room

The strange looking black chair is a massage chair.

Shower room

Bathroom
Controls for the shower/tub room- fan, heat, clothes dryer, timer...good thing it's color coded!

Toilet room

Smart Japanese invention:
sink above toilet tank that automatically flows when the toilet is flushed!

One of the best parts of Japan...hi-tech toilets.
Bedroom, seen from balcony

Bedroom

Kotatsu! Sayo is way too nice and gave us her old one. It is a table with a heater underneath and a quilt that goes over your legs. It's known as "the heart of the Japanese home." We feel much more native now, eating at this table. And so perfect for winter!

We have a fancy clothes dryer in our bathroom- we hang our clothes above the bathtub and turn the dryer on, as opposed to hanging our clothes outside. Pretty efficient.

Making dinner.

Mini fridge! And all Japanese food. :)

Still don't know if I'm washing our clothes properly...
